Music Events In The Berkshires-2011
Summertime in the Berkshires offers an overwhelming amount of unique cultural events: Museums, Theater, Dance, and Performing Arts. With so much going on, how does a Berkshire visitor choose which activities and events to attend? We'll try to break down the best options.
Lets start simply... Music. In the Berkshires. This summer.
Even more specifically... Tanglewood.
The most unique venue and perhaps largest draw to our area is Tanglewood Music Center. As a life time resident of the Berkshires I have witnessed each summer season bring new and exciting performances as well as the regulars like our beloved James Taylor and John Williams of the BSO. Sometimes promising an act that gets the whole county buzzing and then at the last minute is cancelled (as we experienced last year when Simon & Garfunkel had to cancel due to illness; devastating).
Health willing, Tanglewood has something for everyone in the 2011 season.
Highlighted events this summer @Tanglewood:
Earth Wind & Fire: June 25th, 7:00 pm

We'd love to hear from anyone who has seen any of these performers or is planning to buy tickets!
