Things to do in the Berkshires- Pittsfield's 250th Anniversary

Looking for things to do in the berkshires this weekend? Pittsfield is celebrating it's 250th anniversary this weekend with a whole bunch of free events going on around town:
- Arbor Day Elm Tree "Rededication": Today 12-1pm at Park Square
- Community Performance of Pittsfield Past Present and Future: 5pm, 1st United Methodist Church (Fenn Street)
- Opening Ceremony: Today, 4pm in front of City Hall (70 Allen Street) Live music, mayor and congressman will speak, and Pittsfield will be introduced to the new city flag.
The Evening continues with:
Country Music -County Line, 7:30pm @ South Congregational Church (110 South Street) Classic Rock with DJ John Sottile, 7:30pm @ Masonic Temple (116 South Street) Dance Band: 9pm @ Crowne Plaza (1 West Street)
