We all know there's plenty to do on a beautiful sunny day in the Berkshires. Go for a hike in the mountains or a stroll through the streets of Lenox, Stockbridge or Great Barrington. But when it's rainy and dull outside many of our guests are at a loss. Here's what we suggest to do around the Berkshires when the weather won't cooperate!
Museums:
- Norman Rockwell Museum (15 min) The museum not only showcases the influential works of this local artist which reflected american life through the 20th century, but offers workshops, lectures, and even a chance to meet the models of Rockwell's paintings.

- The Berkshire Muesum (5 min) posesses a diverse collection of ancient artifacts, natural science specimens from around the world, presenting early artwork from local and international artists, as well as an aquarium. The museum also houses a small theater which shows films and documentaries. With new exhibitions and installations the nearby museum offers something for all interests and ages. Ending on May 22- MC Escher: Seeing the Unseen.

- MASS MoCA (40min) located in North Adams is one of the largest centers for contemporary visual and performing arts in the country. MASS MoCA is the current home of the Sol LeWitt: A Wall Drawing Retrospective installation.

- The Clark Art Institute:(40 min) Located in Williamstown. The Museum's collections focus almost exclusively on European and American art from the Renaissance to the early twentieth century with an emphasis on the French Impressionists.
