Kennedy Park and the Arcadian Shop
Many guests always ask me where the closest outdoor sports store is located, and my answer is always The Arcadian Shop. The store is located a few minutes down Route 7 at 91 Pittsfield Road, Lenox Ma, if you just take a right turn out of our parking lot here at The Yankee Inn. The Arcadian Shop specializes in several aspects of outdoor recreations. Arcadian offers great quality hiking, skiing, running, and cycling gear. Not only do they offer what you may need to wear for outdoor sports, but they also offer rentals, which include kayaks, stand up paddle boards, bicycles, cross country ski rentals and snowshoes. Climbing and camping equipment are also sold here. Once you have already gotten what you need or browsed for in the store, there is a great place to hike right in the back of the property! Kennedy Park has trail openings right off of the store’s parking lot. Kennedy Park provides hundreds of acres of public trails to enjoy, and personally is one of my favorite places to adventure off into. The park is also adjacent to the Wildlife Sanctuary, which is also a popular scenic area. I highly suggest checking out The Arcadian Shop and then take a nice walk on one of Kennedy’s trails, you will not be disappointed! Great place to bring pets and kids, fun walks, serious hikes, or to just explore!
