If you’ve read my blogs before, I’ve made it no secret that I love beer. However, I have been called (by multiple people, too) a “beer snob.” And guess what? They’re right! And guess what else? I’m proud to be a beer snob! You’re not going to find Budweiser or Coors in my fridge or in my mug at a bar.
Moe’s Tavern is the Mecca for beer snobs like me. I swear the first time I entered Moe’s it was a transcendental moment. It was like I had reached out and touched the universe itself. They serve strictly craft beer and even have a “No Coors Light” sign on the wall… and they mean it too. Their selection of bottled beers is incredible and range from $4 to an unbelievable $399! The staff is very helpful and quite knowledgeable about the products. I must admit, I love the beer geek décor in Moe’s. It reminds me a bit of Bennigan’s or Applebee’s, but with all sorts of local/craft beer stickers.
One of the coolest things about Moe’s is that they do not serve food. However, you’re more than welcome to order delivery or even bring your own in. The next time you’re at the Yankee Inn, let your inner beer geek come out and play and make a stop at Moe’s. It’s sure to be an unforgettable experience and will leave you wanting to come back again and again.
